Dear People,
The store needs a whole new re-vamp.
I have not added anything for quite a while, but I am hoping that will change in the future.
I say 'hoping' as I am expecting a baby quite soon (I am currently 1 week overdue), so I am not sure how soon I will be willing and able to complete this.
I also hope that my web designer will continue to do the updates for me, as I am not able to. (Not computer literate enough).
Anyway, I thought I would just have a look at the site today and explain why there have been no updates for a while.
Please see my blog 'fashionable conundrum' for any more information.
regards,
Christina.

I have made this top from soft jersey stretch knit. A simple t-shirt style but with juliet sleeves. Not quite a classic juliet sleeve as the lower puff is small - this was not on purpose I must confess, but I like the way it has turned out. It has made it very individual, I think.
Following on from my current puffy sleeve obsession, stay tuned, I think there may be more to come.

Classic white shirt with lantern sleeves which puff from elbow to wrist. Featuring decorative stitching down centre front and around sleeves at elbow seam.
I may have mentioned this before, but I am loving high waited pants and skirts and big sleeves. So here is my contribution- a high waisted denim pencil skirt. It is not very high waisted really, I just call in that in comparison to fashion in previous years, lots of previous years.
It is panelled and features decorative stitching along the front and back panels and also a split in the front and the back. Zipper fastening.
These are the brooches I have made to go with the denim bolero (see previous post). I think I will make some more with beading on them. I wanted to do some cameos, so I gave that a try on my sewing machine and came up with two. I also like art-deco so the patterned one had this as its inspiration, dragon-flys are another fav. of mine and, well, who does't like shoes!
Choose clockwise from top left: cameo 1, dragonfly, deco patter, cameo 2 and red shoe.
Simple and stylish chiffon and lace top with soft gathers at the front and elastic at the back between the wide shoulder straps.
I have seen a lot of these tops around lately and wanted to make one myself. The lace I have in my collection, so this will be a limited edition garment, unless I make another with different lace (which still makes it limited edition as it will be different!).
I have made a camisole to go under this in soft nylon stretch knit with shoestring straps. Though this could be worn on its own, I will sell these together.
I have taken these photos at different times of the day, so the colour does look different, but the two fabrics are very similar in colour.
100% cotton stretch denim pinafore with box pleat in front and back. Free motion machine embroidery as feature on front and zip closing at back. The inspiration for the pattern on the front came from the 'fleur de lis' seen in many European decorations.
I love wearing this dress, it is so comfortable and as mentioned in the shop announcement even though I am getting bigger out the front it still fits. It was not designed as a maternity dress, but the style means it can be worn as such.
